Techfest is an annual event hosted by the ISTE-SLIET students chapter and is primarily an opprotunity to revitalize and refrash the cerebral emotions and pursing of interaction of varied kinds with the industry and society. Interactive workshops, symposia,paper presentations, cutting edge technology display, design contest,technology edged competitions and lecture sections scheduled over two days.
TECHFEST is a tool for collecting on a common plateform,young minds and their vision of Technology along with established practitioners and their models;both benefiting each other.This festival shall henceforth move to a bigger canvas with students participation from all over india.This endeavour is to make it an annual event for both-Institute and industry,a festival all can call "OURS'

Abacus : Keep it Simple Silly

Model Making & Exhibition : Focusing on the troubleshooting and practical modelling of latest and upcoming technologies will be a Huge Functional Model contest.To infuse new ideas and vision for tomorrow, encouragement to non-working and semi-working model is also given.Posters depicting realistic frontiers of technology are also encouraged.

Model Making will orient energies towards economy and society in addition to technical spheres.

Oracle : Interface of Technology and Humans

Lecture Session :Eminent academia and industrialists, from all the wide spectra of it's existance, will enlighten the audience with their words of wisdom.The theme of the Lecture Session is "Experience in the Interface of Technology and Humans".

Lectures on the other current topics are also being arranged.

Fullerence : The Full Circle

Workshops : With it's aim at all levels of interaction, these are tools for you and me to come closer. If you have one idea and I have one, and we share it,we have two ideas each.It's a bargain worth it.Industries are invited to set up stalls and use it as a plateform for interaction with all the attendees.

A short duration Workshop on some topics is also bieng arranged.

Marathon Events :

Events from 8 to 8 {dusk to dawn} with complex problems,necessary infrastructure and tough solutions.
Industry participation in designing the problem is welcome and valued.
