Welcome to Computer Center

The Computer Center are equipped with all latest hardware, Software and network technologies which comprises the basic infrastructure within the center.

The center has acquired the computing facility with AS/400-S10,DRS 6000,SGI Workstations and othre servers which provide a wide variety of hetrogenous softwre environments for training of the students. All the servers are accessible in all labs through the in house designed computer communication network which runs over 100mbps fast ethernet. The Center has the facility of 125 pentium nodes and 50 more terminals over which students get abundent time to work,learn and practice.

Software in the center

The center makes available all different OS like UNIX, SCO Unixware7/Openservers5/NX, Novell 4.1, WIN NT, OS/400 for benefit of students.
The database envirnment exist with Oracle, DB2/400, RDG/400, COBOL/400, Sybase,Developer 2000, Power builder, C++, J++, Power designer and other tools.The center enjoys a reputation for generating quality products of student who are exceperienced on all above facilities which are latest and best in the region.
The Center has an understanding with leading software company SCO( Santa Cruz Operation) to provide all Software range free with latest releases/versions/products to the Center.The center will act as support center for products of SCO and training base in the region for the customers of SCO software products.

The center make use of modern teaching aids in imparting the training to the students. The center can offer consultancy services for MIS development networks,Deployement software and hardware planning, maintenance,installation support etc. to the industry in nearby area.
