Subhash Ghai : "Ash is Miss World, in the real sense! She has a truly international face, alongwith talent in abundance. As an artist she does not hesitate in putting that extra effort. She was a joy to work with during the making of Taal. People have often asked me why I had not changed her name to something that starts with 'M', to which I say that as she was Miss World which starts with M, I didn't see the need to do so. She has already proved herself time and again and I feel she is one of the best performers we have today.
